Red Letter Day!!!

I just got off the scale and WHOOO HOOOO!!! 75lbs down in 3 month and 1 week! Started at 325 and now I just broke the 250 mark!!!!   I am so happy with the LAP-BAND®®®!:huh2: Here is my video diary of the whole experience so far. 73lbs down now. Banded 6/16/09. June 16th changed my life!

It has been 10 weeks since my Lap Band surgery was done....WOW!!!! I am now 67lbs lighter! Yes... 10 weeks and 67lbs. I have No hunger, no cravings and I have to remind myself to eat!!! I am the subject of a documentary on the lap band procedure which gives me a greater incentive to get to my goal of 175lbs. Started our at 325lbs! Going to lose 150lbs in 18 months! Anyone considering doing this is thinking correctly as far as I'm concerned. Being a guy I've been told we lose weight faster than women so you might lose it slower BUT what a great gift the lap band is if you REALLY want to live a long life!

Cottage Cheese!

Low fat...High in protien...low in calories. The best Cottage Cheese in the world is Trader Joes cottage cheese! Red printed container. I put Tobasco and a little salt on it...GREAT!!! Eat a cup and a half of it 2 to 3 times a day and have lost 67lbs in the first 10 weeks!

Can't believe it!!! Update!:)

This is a miracle story!:thumbup:     I had the LAP-BAND® surgery on 6/16/09. In 3 months and 2 1/2 weeks I have lost 81lbs! Sore everywhere from all the exercise! This is a documentary of my LAP-BAND® experience. To say this has changed my life would be an understatement. . I want to share this with anyone who is in need of this procedure. Addicted to food? ME! If I couldn't eat it I'd sit on it!:thumbup: Everything in my life was so hard to physically do. Trouble even sleeping. Frustrated...me, miserable....me, tired all the time...me... GONE GONE GONE!!! If you want to lower health care cost the government should just pay for Lap Bands for all who need them!:laugh: Diabetes cut in half, Heart Disease...half...etc. Just my opinion...can you tell I am SCREAMING WITH JOY regarding the LAP-BAND®®®®? I've been told I am losing more than most people...BUT IT'S SO EASY!:thumbup: I'm NEVER hungry...just me? My cravings are gone...just me? The key to the LAP-BAND® I believe is looking at it as if it's a gift and not fight it. I took on this to save my life... it's that important. I realise now the world is SO much bigger than food! This is a miracle story!:)

I had the LAP-BAND®®® surgery on 6/16/09. In 3 months and 1 week I have lost 75lbs! I'm half way home! This is a video of my LAP-BAND®®® experience. If you want the best call them up and go talk about it with the nicest people you will ever meet. I want to share this with anyone who is in need of this procedure. Addicted to food? ME! Video - Part 2 of the Lap-Band documentary.

This is part 2 of a documentary of the Lap-Band®®® process for FOX and DHC. I am now 20 weeks out and have lost 88lbs. A New Life.

It is now 2 1/2 years post lap band... Victory! 144 lbs lost. Waist was 56 " now 36"!!! 337lbs to 193lbs. It saved my life in so many ways. It is a miracle. You can do this!!! I did and I'm no one special. I am not hungry and I don't crave anything any more. Liberating feeling. Watch for the final chapter being recorded soon and you'll see what I'm talking about. Two weeks post op and I can eat solid food again with no problem!:)

I find that I can tolerate almost everything!:sad: Trying to stay true to the band by eating the right things but can anyone tell me if soft serve sugar free frozen yogurt is ok? I love the taste of this Yogurt Passion place and was hoping I could have it as a dessert sometimes. Have lost 34lbs in 22 days! Hope to keep the loss to 2lbs a week from now on. Only threw-up 2 times when testing the band and now have a good grasp of what I can eat til the 1st fill comes.:redface:
