Up and Down - Which way is up or I mean down

Love my band - I really do, but wish it were not so fickle. If it does not want me to eat tuna, then that should be how it is everyday, not just sometimes. If I can not eat bread or breading of any kind, then it should be for always. My band needs to make up its mind. Thank you. Which way is down? I have lost weight, but am so tired of exercising that I could scream out loud. It is now winter here and harder to get out and since it is dark at 5:30 p.m. now even harder to walk in the evenings - makes you want to hibernate, but wait - can't do that cause the scale will go up if i do. Which way is up? :smile2:

Gained for the first time since surgery

I gained back 2.5 pounds for the first time since surgery. Part of it is my fault, because I have not been moving as much, drinking water, and I have been eating not so good things. But I also have little if any restriction. First fill of 4.5cc on July 24 and going back on August 21st for another fill. Hope this fill will be more effective and at least get me closer to the "sweet spot".   Oh, well, have to keep moving forward. :frown::crying:

The Band - It is hard work

For those that think that getting the band or any bariatric surgery is the easy way out, they are sadly mistaken. While your body may cooperate fully, the mind is a different thing. I battle head hunger almost constantly. The more stressed or bored I get, the more I want to eat. Not just little bites, but huge helpings. Thankfully, with the support of my surgeon's office, close friends, this forum, and realize my success, i have been able to stay on track. But it does take will power to say no to a bite of a donut, an extra helping of any food, even the low fat or no fat foods. It does take will power to get out and walk at least twice a day and to take the stairs when possible. So, no this is not the easy way out by any means.
