Well, this is my first blog. I was banded on Jan. 9, 2007. It has now been 2 1/2 years and if I had to do it all over again, I most certainly would!! I was very lucky to find the most caring & compassion surgeon ever!! It was a long trip from Wisconson to San Antonio, Texas, but to this day, I still fly down there for all my fills. When I started my weight loss journey I was 305#, had high blood pressure, high cholesterol, was on 2 different types of pain pills for my back and knee and was on a CPAP machine for Sleep Apnea. Now, here I am, 2 1/2 years later and I no longer am on any pain pills, no longer have high blood pressure or high cholesterol and no longer have sleep apnea. I am now 127# and feel the best I have in my entire life. I love life now, enjoy my family more, and now I actually like myself. I love to consult other weight loss patients and am thankful for Dr. Jorge Rincon!! He literally saved my life!!
