six band fill

I got my sixth band fill two weeks ago, and this has been the most difficult yet. I had not had a fill since Feb. ( I've lost 96 lbs so far), but I had continued to loose weight. I was starting to feel some hunger and wanting to get these last 25 pounds off for selfish reasons. While things are improving, meats are still difficult . I've had some days were I've thrown up, even though I only ate two bites of food. I've lost six pounds in two weeks. The only way I can describe things, is it feels tight! I need to get back on the protein shakes, but am so burned out on them after over one year of drinking them. Still hammering it out at the gym and can see the light at the end of the tunnel!!! Goal weight insight!!!

To the gym, to the gym we go

Ok, this weight still needs help coming off. So I'm off to Gold's Gym this morning for my two hour work out. And yes, I to was unhappy with the slow way the weight has come off, however, slow is healthy. Of course, there is one patient in my doctor's practice who has lost 92 pounds without the first band fill. He was obviously just lucky. But I only have 40 to 50 more pounds to go to be at my goal weight.... and I am going to make that goal. Have a blessed and healthy day!

A new year , a new me

I had my lapband surgery on April 15th, 2008. Since then I have had 4 band fills and have lost 50 pounds. I feel so much better already. I don't think I will need any future fills as I am eating about a 1/4 cup now, I think I would be puking if I fill it again. I hope to post photos as I begin this journey to a new healthier me.
