Can anyone help me to understand why 1 person has no problems with eating pasta, pizza and breads (in small amounts) and others have major issues and can't eat them at all? I don't understand the medical side of this difference? If anyone can help I would appreciate it. Thanks!
Just banded on 12/9. I asked my doctor what would tell me if I need a fill or not in the future and he said I may never need a fill. I have read things on these blogs and that didn't seem right to me. Anybody else told that? Also any tips for a new bander that have helped you? I could use any. Grieving the fact that it might be a few weeks before real food.

What is it? What does PB stand for? I need to understand this more and would love any more info. on it. Burps are not like before and this sometimes makes me vomitt.
I have my surgery date for 12/30 and then they called and said that they could do it earlier 12/9. Is this the right decision to make? People say gastric is the way to go but I don't want that invasive procedure. I am very very concerned that I will feel the port and when my 2 year olds play with me they will hurt the band in some way and cause issues with band or port. Any one have any great advice - I could sure use it right now!!!:confused:
