confused surgery in 40 hrs now

:tt2::wink_smile::girl_hug::wink_smile::confused::regular_smile:iam all of these right now all kinds of emotions going on with me and surgery is monday 930am i have to keep reminding myself why iam having this done in the first place and i don't have much support at home at all ...i get the chance to talk things out at work with my co workers .they see where iam coming from and he doesnt at all his way of weight loss would be walk away from the food and exercise more ...sure thing ...but ist happening so i am having the surgery done evem though iam having so many mixed emotions is this nornmal ???????????????? one min iam crying the nx iam happy or excited ....iam so confused here

surgery in 24 hrs

:tt2:not that iam counting down or anything :confused: but 24 hrs to go and i have to say i have felt better since i heard from the people on lbt then anyone els for sure ...and i have to say a SUPER THANK YOU TO ALL:wink:would have been hard to continue on with out you all emailing and keeping me going through it all i had my ups and downs here lately but today iam feeling real good and ready to go come 6am tomarr ,i won't be home till tue i guessbut i sure will update my blog ..hay to you all on LBT god love ya :wink_smile:

first fill and tight

ok its been like 7 wks and i just got my first fill last thursday and today being monday iam still eating soft foods and not much of it either but have lost 20 lbs so far as well not to shabby i must ad. and lots of inches all over not in anyone area which is really kool ...i put on a work shirt in a size med. by mistake and about had a cow i thought it was one of my lg or xlg ones and seen it looked pretty new cked the size and wow it was the new med i had ordered and washed and said i will be needing this one day and wa la its the day :thumbup:SWEETTTTTT. iam wondering if i had to much of a fill and won't be able to eat anything but soft till nx fill ...hummmmmm

approved and moving fast here 10/22/08

:wink_smile::thumbup:wow things are moving really fast right now ,i finished up my 90 superviseed diet with dr wilcher and turned in my paper work that was the oct 3ed and by monday oct 13th i was approved and had a surgery date which is nx monday oct 27th but this wk has been very very busy getting my tests in and all and my last meeting required and today a class and meet with a pharmacy person about my med's how to reduce to liq or crush my last class on the lapband itself and meet with the billing dept at the hos .don't know yet what aetna is paying they said 80% doc said more so we;ll see today but thats ok i have the 20% ready to go incase no stopping my surgery date here :rolleyes:i found the info at the group meetins to be very helpful yesterday and i have to admit i thought this has to be what aa feels like :laugh:sorry i had to say it ...and i don't drink either .now tomarr i see dr bruce for my final time before surgery.excited :biggrin: so for now thats it .:wink_smile::wink_smile::confused::thumbup::tt2::w00t::girl_hug:

the supervised diet do i or don't i ???

:confused:ok here it is my silly question now that iam on the so called supervised diet with my family doc now the real question am i truly to lose or not to lose is the question .what is the ins co looking for ?? please help i dont' understand what i really need to do here ..thanks in advance :smile:

hurt in top of stomach

hi everyone i had the surgery monday i went in and the hos was running late so my 930 went to 1230 real quick like that sucked but anyways i was released yesterday at 330 i think it was i was so sick to my stomach and they had to keep the meds going for that but my issues is pain in top of my stomach and through my back wow thats really hard to deal with these liq meds YUCKKKKK not very good huh ..ok going back to bed again i have the pain ball but its not good enough to keep it gone ..chat later trying to stay positive here ..:wink_smile::thumbup::tt2::wink_smile::confused::girl_hug::biggrin:

eating is painful

:cursing:ok iam really wanting something to eat and the last few wks have been a problem with getting foods down even today i tried some chic noodle soup nope not going easy hurts going down ,,,or i have to simple throw up most of the time i throw up ..its a given with me now days i guess or would say iam to tight i know i have tried diff foods and most are not going down with out sticking or pain one tonite iam having salmon baked to try and get some decent food down that will stay i have lost another 3/4 lbs..so not all is bad i guess that was the deal on the surgery :tt2::wub:

Pain ball out finally

OK HERE WHAT I JUST WENT THROUGH WOW I WAS'NT SURE IF IWAS GONNA PASS OUT OR WHAT I PULLED THE PAIN BALL OUT AND YOU HAVE TO PULL A LITTLE HARDER THEN I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST IN MY MIND IT WAS GONNA HURT AND BE SCAREY HAPPY HALLOWEEN BY THE WAY :sneaky: SO NOW THATS OUT DONE A WONDERFUL SHOWER N DRIED MY HAIR WOW FEELS GREAT TODAY I TOOK OFF ALL MY BANDAGES AND EVERYTHING LOOKS GOOD .HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE :thumbup::redface::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

throwing up after every meal /still after unfill completely

:cursing:iam still throwing up after everything doesnt matter what it is if its more then a yogert/or drinking something i have had chic i have had chic noodle soup doesnt matter i throw it up my doc took all the saline out on friday and i go tue for a test to see whats going on i cannot wait to see what it may be i was sick there for a spell with coughing heavy duty throwing up sick with flu iam wondering if the entire belt slipped and what he will or won't do about it surely he won't want to take it out ..any idea's ??????????????????????????? any one els having this ?/ :thumbup:

No sugar added treats after surgery

:thumbup::thumbup::redface::thumbup:HERE IS THE BEST TREAT I FOUND ON NO SUGAR ADDED LUIGI'S REAL ITALIAN ICE COMES IN A BOX OF CHERRY AND LEMON THEY ARE SO SO GOOOOOOD IAM GOING BACK FOR A FEW BOXES MYSELF AND THEY GO DOWN SO GOOD ....I GOT MINE IN THE FREEZER AT WAL MART'S:tongue::thumbup::thumbup:

bad few mos

:tt1:ok ive had a bad few mos here time to see doc i almost feel something cannot be right here at all iam basically throwing up everything and when i start i can't stop its over and over i have done this for as much as an hr or so at a time throwing up like every 5/10 mins i have even taken my meds to stop this and once in awhile it will stp me so i bet with all this going on something isnt right here with my band i keep putting it off to see doc =( sad

seen doc today he took out all the saline and i have a test tue to see whats going on in there with my band then he'll decide what and when to do anything els ...a little better tonite but not great i had a small chic wing 2 bites of mashed potatos and got sick again so iam waiting awhile and gonna have some yogert ...till tue test =):tt1:

second fill another 1 1/2 cc

:rolleyes:ok i was excited to get my second fill thursday but i also was looking forward to going to tex roadhouse today for my grilled chic salad well thats not gonna happen since i had to up chuck it so much for my 8.99 dinner today to tight i guess ,i had a scrabbled egg this morning and it was ruff but i thought oh by dinner time i'll maybe be better ...not....i guess this is the good and bad of the band ,iam still excited it gets me off and running to losing more again so i'll deal with it for a few days till i get there..i had a half cupof chili yesterday and a yogert so we shall see ...everyday is diff but iam happy i did this for me .:thumbup::drum:

sick with the flu .coughing ect

:frown:omg i been so sick with the virus its so sucks been in bed since sunday and seen doc on monday says it a virus i guess put me on antibotic's and said it will have to run its course .right now iam coughing my ass off and coughing up if you will its not fun..i lay down and i keep myself awake from the wheezing iam making ,so i can;t win right now ..i left work early sunday an went staright to bed the pain in my joints have been total hell the worst ever from hips to legs to my feet and the fever omg its been a mess as well ,doc said this is going around kinda hard to stay away from things now days when your working in the public so maybe tomarr will be a better one iam due to go back to work thursday .chow

nutrition drinks-foods

:unsure:ok has anyone tried and liked the brand unjury ? i just ordered me some chicken soup and vanilla to have it handy for work and at home iam doing the 90 supervised diet right now and seen that and thought i would give it a try and at 20g protein sounded really good to me ...i know after surg its what a day 70/80 total....just trying things out before and still hoping and praying i get good news from aetna ins co..i had a email today stating my ins co wanted me to watch the emmi and i did and even copied it so i could go back if needed to read,any good protein shakes-soups u know of ..even if iam turned down i say if...iam still going to work on this weight issue with protein foods ect ...hope everyone is having a great day ..sue:thumbup:

day 4 from surgery

:thumbup::redface: ok there;s an issue i have since my surgery and i wonder if its due to the pain ball numbing me below .i have had to wear a pad due to leaking if this crazy or what iam taking the pain ball out today and all my tape and hope i feel better about things i have yummy :thumbup: cream of wheat today it was so good and i can yogerts and all that now wow moving right along here .i did feel like doing dishes today and put in aload of laundry but thats it for today not gonna push it ..iam excited to be healed so things are improving here for me i tend to take surgerys harder then others for some reason i had lung surgery in 2002 and thought i would never bounce back but i did .all that from smoking i had lung cancer and i made they took my upper right lobe out but i feel totally normal a little shortness from time to time breathing but iam done with all that so iev come along way here and excited for my journey in the skinny world again :thumbup::smile2::thumbup::laugh::sneaky::smile::cool2::wub:

gas pain's

:redface: let me rewind a little ,,ok i do have gas pains and they really do hurt and you cannot stop them and there :thumbup: bad ok but the rest is coming around good tonite other then that ,i even made pumpkin bread cupackes for my co workers tomarr is out work party so i didnt forget them at all so i was up long enough to bake tonite and also i thought i was going back to work nx wk on tue since i do the schedule uuhh i guess not i don't see the doc till 6th and she said he'll send you her guess the 10th,so thats 14days off but i swear i feel i do need it iam way to sore and can't stand for long ...chow

unfill- throwing up has stopped finally

:smile:happy again my stomach has finally settled down so i can eat and keep it down been a long time coming guess i will hear from doc about doing a fill again starting back out slowly again to get me back to my sweet spot before i got so sick,,looking forward to it .maybe i can get back to some weight loss again like i should be .. :eek:

iam still happy i made the choice to band =)

:tongue_smilie:iam still happy i did the band even though i went through so much stuff in the last couple mos theres always bad with the good at times and iam sure there will be more but all and all iam pleased to have made this choice for sure ,iam staying positive and looking forward to losing some more when my fill is started again ....:thumbup:i was really scared my band had slid and i was gonna lose it for good if he didnt like what my test was but the way the guy talked who did my test seemed like i had to have time to heal with the saline out after being sick with the flu that i had been sick so long my stomach couldnt heal any .but we are back to normal again ...yeahhhhhhhh
