Excited, Scared and Confused

Hi, I Just received my surgery date of July 23, I'm so excited. I was very pumped after reading Lisetheloser's blog. However, I read some of this site and became a little more uncertain. I have read more negative things on this site. She was so positive and about the entire experience that I felt I was making the right decision. However, I'm a little more concern now hearing about cheating and not losing weight. I don't want this to be another failed attempt at losing weight. I'm looking for positive reinforcement if anyone has any please help I'm getting a little "why am I doing this if I'm not going to lose weight."   Oh, ignore me probably nerves.   Excited, Scared and Confused SLY:confused_smile:

Trying to stay positive

I was banded on July 23, 2008:biggrin2:, my preop weight was 239 lost 7lbs on the preop diet, went into surgery weighing 232 currently weigh 226.8 as of 8-10-08. I am so discouraged :thumbup: that I am not losing weight I feel like I went through all this for not. I have been walking about 4 days a week on liquids and still not losing, consume only about 800 cals or less per day. I have discussed this with my primary care physician I told him I think my metabolism is shot, he doesn't agree and said give it time. My dietician said it was because of the protein EAS and to try a d different one. I just don't now what to think and i'm trying not to give up. HELP!!!!

First Fill

Hey guys,   Excited and scared:tongue_smilie: I go for my first fill on Sept. 2, i'm not sure why but my doctor is doing it in radiology not in the office.

I just tried several online sites to purchase the muscle milk light, all the sites I tried had it on back order. I was also working on my weight tracker with no luck for some reason I couldn't get it to work. Well I'll BBL when I have a new development.
