I had my second adjustment today. Dr Minkin put in 1cc. He told me I am doing great! He said that The band is only doing 50% of the work! I have an Inmed 10cm band. At his office I weighed 320~!

I had my first adjustment this morning. The flouroscope was so very cool. Dr. Minkin put in 1cc. I feel really tired today. Maybe from the nervousness, and maybe becaue of work stress.   I am on liquids only today, mushies tomorrow, and then back to regular rules on Friday. Chew, 4-6 oz. Stop when I first feel full. No liquids 2 hours after meals.   My port is very deep. My next adjustment will need to be flouro also. Dr Minkin says my inscison was not infected, bu that I had a reaction to the dissolvable stitches. It is lookin much better, I am using lots of vitmain E, just like my granny taught me.   According to The drs' scale I weigh 441.   I joined 24 hour fitness. I really like it. I walk at my target heart rate for 30 minutes, jog in the pool. I even took a yoga class. It was GREAT.   I go for my first adjustment with the Flouroscope on wednesday.   I have found several pieces of clothes that fit 2 years ago, AND THEY FIT NOW!   I get hungry in the evening. I am sure the adjustment will curb that :guess

Barfy 8-10-06

Today I called my dr because 2 of my inscisions were red and pus-y. He put me on liquid augmentin...It makes me very nauseous. :omg: I remembered the suppositries I got just out of the hospital for nausea...I feel much better now.   I feel very hungry today probaby because of PMS... oh goodie.

I had lap band surgery on July 20, 2006. My heaviest weight was 380. I had to get to 350 in order to be banded. I liquid fasted July 7th through the 20th. I had been dieting before that but on the 7th of july, I weighed 367. When I weighed the morning of my surgery I weighed 347.6!   According to the scale at the Y (which never I could never weighon before...because it only went to 350) I weigh 328.   I am feeling great. I do get hungry in the evening. I am thinking about eating breakfast, waiting until 3 or 4 til lunch, then have dinner at 7 or 8.   I need to make my 1 month appt. with Dr. Minkin.   Cam
