Weight is stabilized at 121. Still can't eat a whole lot but decent. I did a workout program for 56 days and i definitely gained muscle or look toned. Belly is gone ,
Weight is now 121 :). I am pretty much stabilized now. A loss of over 80 lbs. I am getting better at eating, but still not great. The problem I have is that I need to still up my protein and my vits/mineral intake. Im trying so hard to do so. Im so picky, I am very limited in what food I eat. Seems like I am eating the same over and over again.
I need new ideas.
I am now 124.
But.....I still can't eat a lot. And I mean almost just a hunk of chicken or fish or a bit of potato and Im done.
I have no desire to eat food, it all taste bland to me. I tried different ways to spice it up but it don't help. Maybe once I am able to eat more and I hope soon that food will be enjoyable again.
And its even harder when your limited due to allergies to dairy and wheat, and I don't like fruits and vegetables. Very limited. And I don't even have room to eat it because I need the protein first but I can't get enough. I will get much les if I split it with veggies or with a starch.
Anyone else have the same problem?
I am now way past my goal weight: ) I am now 128.6. Been around that for the past month.
I am still struggling with food. Still on the protein meal replacements. But getting tired of them because I am so limited in food. And the shakes are dairy free and they are the only ones I can handle.
Im no where near getting the protein intake I need. I still can only eat an egg and I am full. I can eat a bowl of oatmeal what ever amount is i the package with peanut butter, but it takes me a good 30 mins plus to finish.
I can have about 1/4c Rice and say about an oz of meat and I am full. Thats pretty much my portion for any meal.
I struggle because I am so limited since eI don't do dairy and wheat, well try not too. And I hate a lot of the veggies except starchy ones like carrots, potato, set potato, yams, butternut. And I only like certain fruits and mainly in shakes. I can only handle to be able to eat it. Like a small green apple.
I desperately need help with meal planning to make sure I have everything I need for my body. I am doing IVF in the Spring and I want to be able to eat a lot more then what I can. I am almost a year post wls.
I will post pics as soon as I am able to.
Loving the weightless. But hate my diet.
Nothing has changed eating wise. Still can't eat a lot. I do 2 meal replacement shakes, and a small supper. And even then I can still only eat just the protein.
Weight is still coming off. Was 203, now 144lbs.
Theres not a whole lot of change in appearance, so I upload some more next month or so.
I am now 148lbs, my 1st goal was to be 145. Just about.
Problem is, even tho my stomach has drastically reduced in size, I still feel skinny fat. My body fat is still in the 30% and up. It is not reducing much but the weight is melting off :S
I still can't eat a whole lot, protein is still hard to do unless I do all shakes. And I am starting to work out.
The nightgown pic is the most dramatic change for me. I can't believe I was 203 lbs, now 154.5
Still struggling to eat. Really need to amp up my protein and vitamins. I am losing hair like crazy
I am down 48 lbs now
Beginning Weight: 203
Current: 155 lb
I am 10 lbs away from my first goal.
Still not eating a whole lot. Need to up my protein. My hair is thinning out like crazy. I havent been taking vitamins for a while; I need to get at it. Its been hard dince I been away from home fir almost a month due yo a cuty wide evac because of a huge fire surrounding my cuty and within the city.
I have been going to the gym alot, doing weights and cardio. I also been walking. I used to hate it so much. Now im full of energy when walking, feet dont hurt anymore and i do t get out of breath as quick.
Hotflashes are non existent
Can now fit in med clothes and not extra larges.
So happy with everything so far
I will post updated pics once I am back home.
Ttul
It has been a slow month, I haven't lot a whole lot, perhaps 1-2 lbs, it kepted fluctuating all month.
BUT I been eating too much junk, mainly popcorn and nachos . I have stopped now and I am kicking this month into high gear.

Still a challenge to get what my body needs. I am still strugglig to get all the protein and water in and even food. Still a few bites here and there. But I can eat junk food Sucks becuase I dont want to.
The weight is coming off a bit slower now. I am starting to easein working out.
So far I lost 36 lbs since Jan 5. I was in the 200"s now in the 160"s
My first goal is pre wedding weight if 157. I don"t know from there how much. I like to get to 145 as my 2nd goal and go from there.
So happy ! But eating is a pain. Stomach still gurlgles like crazy.
As of today I lost 31.5 lvs since Jan 5th
Just about out of the 170"s
I started working out last week alternating cardio and stength weight training.
Food i still a struggle, I dont have a whole variety of eating yet.
I just starred adding fruit such as an apple and i can only eat half, I also had pb with it.
Still struggle to get my water and all my protein in.
Still a learning curve, of finding out which foods I can handle.
I had a baby blizzard and it was so good. But at he end must of bene a big sugar attack and i was not feeling well at all, i wanted to make myself throw up, he feeling went away after an hour or so. And the next day no effects from the icecream, before I would hve direhea. I been having milk products for a while in, motly in thr greek yogurt and cheeses. I stick to almond
Milk.
Also i am
Having the odd fruit smoothie every now and then, i can drink a cup but it takes me well ovr 30-60 mins depends how thick it is.
Here is an updated pic
Update:
This week I gained almost 2 . I guess because Im starting to eat a lot more. And I'm eating what ever I can eat! Not good. I need to change my mind mentally and start eating properly. I need to get over my unwillingness to have my veggies. Im prepared mentally for that by finding recipes thatI think will help me eat my veggie, now its a matter of cooking it and eating it.
I still can't eat as much, I get full my a chicken leg, or half a small pork chop, an dI mean the size of the 2 fists of a newborn. Veggie soup: A few carrots, potato, and turnip, with probably a tablespoon or 2 of meat I can eat a cup no problem.
I can have all meats, potato, carrot, turnip. Thats my veggie and meat range so far.
I tried a fruit smoothie, 1/2 c Mixed berries, with a bit of orange juice with protein powder.
Today I did some cardio; according to my fitbit I burned 450 cal in 45 mins. I was just doing dance videos. And a bit of my xbox kinnect dance games.
Tomorrow Im going to do some weights.
So much to learn, I still have yet got my water intake yet, and Im getting better with protein, I have been having about 60 so far and thats including protein supplement.
Sometime today I will more then likely do my 2 month measurements and post and update pic. You definitely see a difference.
Bye for now
My last post, I mentioned about having the stomach flu or sleeve problems. it wa stye stomach flu Its passed now.And i am now starting to try to introduce more foods.
Still hard to get all the water and protein in, Im trying a method of eating every 2 hours. Would love ideas for snacks and things to eat. I am on week 8 of eating now.
Today I was surprised that I made my own shake today with berries and a banana and was able to finish it but be able to drink it normally. Not like sip, wait, sip wait. I used a straw, had a few sips and was fine.
Weight Update:
Starting Weight: 203
Current: 175
Net loss: 28 lbs This week was my lowest weight loss of 1.3 lbs.
Around the 5th of March I'll post my update on my 2 month measurements. And update pics
Stay tuned!
I don't know if I am experiencing dumping syndrome or not. But I had TMi; vomitting and diarhea for over 12 hours.
or due to me not eating enough, and eating the wrong foods :S
or simply the 24 hour bug.
I had no incidences now for 3 hours. I can keep food and water down now. So I hope this not fun day has passed.
Update:
Other then today, everything is going great. Down 27 lbs now. Trying to do a bit of cardio, I was supposed o strength train but my body had other plans.
Soon going to add my 2 month measurements
Anyone else experience it? I'm 6 weeks Post, and my stomach/chest make sa while lot of noticeable noise as I eat solid food or liquids sometimes. It can be funny at times, but annoying as well.
I wonder when it will go away.
I am not trying a bit of pasta, not too much. Pasta is my downfall, thats what caused me to gain a lot of my weight. It will be easier now since theres only pretty much only room for protein and veggies. Unless you make that you main meal.
Here is my 1 month pics
I lost 18 lbs, and 36 inches, you can see it the most on my stomach and my face.
I still have liquid protein, and i have mashed potato, carrot, and Rutabega so far. I also have chicken, ribs, turkey. Just small amounts. I try to limit to 2 tbs of meat and 2 tbs of mashed veggie.
I try really had to have water, Im still not even to 20 oz yet. But I don't constantly sip. Its hard especially when you go to stop 30 mins before and not have to drink 30 mins after for each meal you want to have. its hard to fit it all in. I get about 60 protein, and thats with 2 shakes and some meat.
I still have yogurt and pudding still. I also can have a few fries, and had yam fries. And haven gravy.
I find it hard now cuz when I eat I like to take more then 1 bite, and the food gets cold because you can't eat at a normal pace. I need to get used to one bite, chew swallow, wait a minute then take another.
When I get full, I have a heavy chest feeling. and i just take a sip of a drink to help wash it down.
My incisions have closed up, still red but healing Its been a good month. I want mac and cheese and pop!
Down 15 pounds !
Almost in the 170's.
Still having mashed food, so far potato, rutabaga, carrots. And I tried soft chicken today. I could of had more but I didn't want to overdue it because I also had some mashed veggies with it.
I also been having greek yogurts, puddings, liquid protein shakes. Trying to stay away from soups and broths. Tired of it lol.
I also started my vitamins today. My b12 strips are mint flavour and nasty for a few mins then becomes tolerable, then once I have a drink its fine.
Its a challenge when I eat food I just want to gobble it all up. Funny thing I still don't feel actual normal hunger. Also my stomach bugles like crazy when I have solids. people can actually hear the gurgling.
Incisions are healing. 2 of them are slightly open but slowly closing up.
Everything is going good.
Incidions are healing quite niceley.
Still doing liquid protein and mashed foods.
Down 13 lbs and really noticed a difference.
Ps, stitches came out without s hitch. Done at home
Everything is going good so far. My stitches should be coming out any day now. Getting itchy and I want to pick the scabs lol. My stomach is chaffing now because it was rubbed so raw from the tape and bandage changes.
I am still on liquids, I managed a cup of creme soup tonight, but I think I should have a little less because it was creamy, thickish. And after a few minutes I felt like throwing up; still learning my limits.
Everything is going great!
Down 10 lbs since Jan 2.
Fluid intake no problems.
Incisions are healing nicely. The red rashes due to the tape is annoying but healing up. Stitches will be out on Tuesday.
Was sleeved Tijunana, Mexico by Dr. Mario Almanza!
Our experience was awesome,
Great people, they are with you every step of the way. Passionate caring staff. Very accommodating.
I was having an issue the first night of dry heaving, which could of been expected. And I also felt very low on sugar so I had a sugar IV for what they use for the diabetics, after that I was fine Now My voice is kind of gone lol because of the heaving.
I was up and walking within a bit after recovery. X Ray tests are perfect. I went with 6 other people I know and met 2 new American friends.
Crossing the borders was a piece of cake. The shopping experience was great.
Doing awesome, quite the change and adjustment. Finally home and snuggled in my own bed, Gas pain is no more,
Over all experience AMAZING! Would definitely recommend Dr. Almanza to anyone
Day 7 doing well
It went really well. I never felt hungry, had some sort of liquid every 2-3 hours.
1 Day down 2 to go.
Love my protein shakes.
I have the Chocolate Premier Protein from Costco. 30g Protein, 0 Carbs. 160 Calories
Its getting closer to the craziest thing that I doing to myself. I would of never imagined weightless surgery.
I was always a tiny thing, but once started high school it went all down hill from there. Even more once school and college was over. No forced to have gym every day. The cafe food was extremely fattening. The burgers, pizza, fries, poutine, chicken fingers. Anything deep fried. I don't think I remembered anything healthy.
I can't wait for this to be done.
I can't fit in any of my "big clothes anymore" I loved wearing jeans and tight fitted clothes. Now I resort to leggings and baggy shirts. I just want to burn it all.
And Im tired of eating too much food, even more then I need. and I feel frustrated with myself. Its so depressing that all my old clothes are to small; the clothes I want to wear. I couldn't wear shorts all this summer they were all small, size 31 waist was even too small for me!
I had no motivation the past 6 months. Its a New Year and a New me, cliche I know but it really is going to stick this time. Im sick of tired feeling huge, out of breath, sweats, eating junk, etc.
Happy New Year!
